Hey guys im currently a junior in hs.

So freshmen year i was going thru personal issues + i had a teacher who despised me leading to me getting an 81 in biology (with quality points) and an 80 in latin. My rank was 244/800 and my gpa was an 3.9/5.0? Sophmore and junior year i began being more serious and now my rank is 91/600 and my gpa is a 4.4/5.0. I was wondering what scholarships I could possibly get

SAT: 1280 (planning to retake) 620 reading and writing, 660 math
ACT: (taking it soon my range is 27-28 but my goal is 33-34)

AP Classes (+ planning to take) :
AP comp sci
AP Chem
AP World History
AP Language
AP Human Geo
AP Calc
APES
AP Capstone
AP Physics
AP Psychology
AP Literature

Extracirrucular:

NHS (junior year)
HOSA (since freshmen year)
Girl up (since sophmore)
Muslim Students Association (since freshmen)
Desi Club (Since sophmore)
Student Council (since freshmen year)

Volunteer:
I am a administrative coordinator for a non profit organization to provide schooling for young children in third world countries (sending a bunch of emails basically)
Since freshmen year I tutored kids K-8 in mathematics in a tutoring center
Every summer, I volunteer in the mosque during Ramadan

so do i have a good chance???

The key to be in the running for an AES scholarship for yourself will be to increase your SAT or ACT scores significantly. You are in the top 25% of the class and definitely have strength of schedule and your ECs are good. Put your effort into raising your scores.

They don’t care about all the other stuff, the only things that matter are ACT/SAT and GPA/Rank. SAT is low considering lowest AES has an average of 1337. Rank is about average. So at this point, expect nothing.

FYI. I know someone with about your ranking, may be slightly higher but not much, new SAT equivalent of 1500. Got Distinction.
