I'm a junior at Florida State. My current gpa is a 2.8. ( I know it's terrible) If i get 3.8 or 4.0's for the next 2 years, what do you think my chances are of getting into Columbia Law School? I know its a far, far, really far stretch, but its my dream school. Also, i know that LSAT scores are very important and I need to get atleast a 171. What do else do i need to do in these next two years in order to get in? I appreciate you help! Thanks :)

If you get a 4.0 for the next two years, it would result in a cumulative 3.6 GPA. If you get an LSAT score of 175+ I’d said you have a fair shot. Not the best chance, but a fair chance…

Thank you so much, that really helps. I am in NY every summer doing internships. Hopefully next summer I can get one at a law firm in the city. I feel like that could help a lot too. I know I have a very long uphill battle ahead of me. But, if I can pull it off, it will surely be worth it.

No problem dude. I’m trying to get in Harvard Law or NYU School of Law myself (although first I have to get into an undergrad school :P)

So your not even in college yet? Well learn from my mistakes and don’t party that much and keep school first. Good luck with everything!
