Hi all,

I'm currently studying Arts and Economics (Majors Advanced French, Politics, Quantitative Economics and Economic History) at the University of Western Australia. My dream is to study in the US but I have no clue if I am a suitable candidate for the universities I wish to apply for (UCLA, UPenn, NYU, Harvard, UChicago, Columbia..).

I did reasonably well at school - A,B,B,B in my final year. At university my average is around 65-70%. I do a lot of extra-curricula stuff and I'm at a very high level at skiing and tennis. I'm also fluent in french, dabble in painting, music and writing. I have two good references from internships (African Governance Initiative and in the House of Commons) I held in London last year.

I wanted to put this list of questions in a few different threads, but I think this one seems the most appropriate :)

Firstly, to be clich
