HS GPA: 3.6/4.0
SAT (new) 1060/1600 (terrible, will explain below)
ACT: pending, going to take, explained below
College GPA: 3.4/4.0
Extracurriculars: Played varsity baseball throughout highschool, started a semi-successful company until it got liquidated.
Recommendations: From the former NH district attorney who attended Dartmouth and Duke, a Marketing manager at Fidelity, macroeconomics professor
Currently work at Fidelity, they’re paying for my education if that means anything
Why I did bad on SATs: company was at its peak, was making $45,000 a year in profit. Thought I was going to be Bill Gates and blew through the test. Mom forced me to take it again, got 10 points hire. Still didn’t care. I now care and am most likely going to take the ACT.
Are my chances low? I’m applying for fall 2019 and want to see if I need to improve anything.
Also applying to: Syracuse, BU, Northeastern, Harvard (why not, I’ll help drive the acceptance rate down), NYU, University of Maine (my state’s uni), Bates, Colby.
