Hey so i'm planning on transferring into DePaul next year for the fall semester, I was just wondering what you guys think my chances are. I am currently a freshman at a community college in illinois right now and I am taking 12 credit hours. I should be finishing this semester with a even 3.0 but I'm on the edge of an A and B with one class so it may fall to 2.7 but hopefully not. I am taking 18 credits next semester so lets say I finish with a 3.0 next seamster as well how would my chances of transferring into DePaul? Before looking at their requirements I thought the school was more competitive, they are asking for ATLEAST a 2.0 and 30 credit hours (which I will have). I am pretty optimistic about my chances of getting in.. I also read online that a girl got in with a 3.1 as a transfer student. So what do you guys think?

And I will be majoring in Journalism

bump bump bump bump

Their minimum GPAs are low, but obviously you want to be in the 3.0’s to have a good chance.

Your ECs may also play a part.

I’m not 100% sure, though, as I’m also applying as a transfer for next fall! Good luck, and hopefully you see this. Lol.
