Chances of transferring into architecture at Cal or UCLA

So I'm done with my GE at UCM (don't start, I originally came here because of the generous scholarships and to get away from home) and am going to go to a community college back home to do 3 pre-reqs (mainly recommended classes) for architecture. I'd like to go to UCLA since I have UC reciprocity, or CAL (which, in the arch department, doesn't honor UC reciprocity, hence the community college courses), or SLO, Pomona, or USC.

I was wondering what my chances are, since I have higher than a 3.5 currently, AP tests, and will have completed these 'extra' architecture courses by enrollment in 2012.

I know all of these schools are highly competitive and was hoping to get some advice on what they look for, what makes a good applicant, etc.

Thanks (this is my first time posting here)

Admission to architecture programs is also highly dependent on your portfolio. I suggest you also post your questions on the Architecture Major subforum.
