and I have a question regarded my chances of getting into UCSC,
im a little anxious
I have a 3.31 gpa and will be IGETC certified before I transfer
Do I have a decent chance of getting accepted?</p>

<p>^ 3.31 is OK, but what is your major? Somehow I think chances depend a lot on your major, too.</p>
<p>My major is anthropology 
but I didn’t make a TAG agreement because I wasn’t done with my English and math requirements, do you think that will affect my chances?</p>
<p>I got in with a 3.1 majoring in Anthropology. But it was admissions by exception, so that might be different.</p>
<p>So are GPA’s above 3.0’s still not enough?</p>
<p>Yes, it is. Somehow I think >3.2 is OK, lots of my friends got in with 3.2 ~ 3.4, and their majors are all social science stuffs like anthro, history or sociology … not sure abt engineering though</p>
