Chances of transferring to a better business school from UCR?

Hello,
I am a 2nd year business student at UC riverside with a Cum GPA of 3.18 currently.
Im hoping to get it above or near 3.5 by the end of this year.
I did horribly my first year and am slowly bringing my GPA up.
If these numbers matter i got a 1840 on the Sat 600 for SAT 2 math
I would most likely try to transfer for Spring because I know I can bring my GPA up higher.

Im hoping to shoot for Business schools such as
NYU Stern
Cornell
Emory
USC MArshall
Georgetown
etc.

What would be my chances of getting into these schools, and what would be the best course of action to meet my goals?
What other undergraduate programs would be in my best interest?

thank you very much

bump bump bump

I think you need to bring up your gpa a lot more than that since those are top schools for business. It’s gonna be really competitive to get into those schools. SAT’s are not gonna matter anymore since you’re already in college. I would try to call each school to see where you stand and what you need in order to meet your goal. What’s wrong with UCR for business anyways?

I’d just like to increase my opportunities in the job/intern market when that time comes.

Any other comments/ suggestions?

Happy New years!

hmmm. if you are talking about increasing your opportunities, then I would go to a good MBA school instead of transferring.

Thank you

Any other inputs?
