Chances of transferring to a good university without SAT?

Basically I'm 17, dropped out of high school in 9th grade and got my GED because of an abundance medical and family issues, and began attending a community college. I currently have a 4.0 gpa and plan to sustain it by the time I have my a.a./general education complete. Problem is I haven't taken the SAT, and there's not much opportunity at all for extracurricular activities where I live.
I really want to get into an elite university...obviously ivy league is way far fetched but I'd love to get into NYU, Georgetown, or Boston U.
Will not having SAT scores automatically count me out for those schools?
Also, if I get a job on my campus as a student worker...would that kind of help as an extracurricular? I hope that's not an idiotic question.
Anyway, thanks for any information you give me...it's all helpful.

Go on the schools’ websites and see what they require. Why couldn’t you take the SAT now though?

You don’t need to take the SAT. Apply as a transfer student.

Well the issue is that I’m going to pretty much be in school full-time and I’m not sure how well I’d do on the SAT bundling all my college world, since I want to save time and transfer into a University as soon as I finish up my a.a. If it’s absolutely necessary I would take the SAT but I want to know if it is.

Lots of places do not require standardized test scores if you are a transfer applicant. Check the websites to find out what they do need. There can be a difference if you finish your AA or AS before you transfer.

If you haven’t done so yet, pay a visit to your CC’s Transfer Advisor. That person should be able to help you sort everything out.
