<p>Hello,
I'm currently a sophomore (academic junior) at a private university in texas and was wondering if anyone had information on transferring to Rice University, beyond what is given on their admissions website. I'm in the honors program at my school, am enrolled in all 300 - 400 level classes, have a 3.8 gpa, am a resident assistant, and I'm vice president of an honorary. I have changed my mind in regards to academic program I wish to pursue and wish to transfer to rice where I could pursue a religious studies major with a larger breadth of east Asian religion courses. Additionally, despite my involvement at my current university, I feel as though it is not the correct 'fit' for me. It've done absolutely everything to make my University feel like home, but to little internal success. I'd like reassurance on chances before I spend nearly 100 dollars on sending text scores and transcripts. For reference purposes, I received an IB diploma in high school, had a 98 gpa unweighted (I think a 104 weighted?), had extracurriculars, etc. If anyone has any tips I'd really appreciate them.
