chances of transferring to UGA or Emory/Oxford

Hi, I currently attend Georgia State University and am part of their Honors Program. I was wondering about my chances of transferring to UGA or Emory for the Spring Semester of 2010. My college GPA will be a mid 3.5 after my summer semester and I will have 50 total hours of credit according to my adviser. I am also a Korean male.

My high school stats were:
GPA: 3.7 (weighted) (took 6 AP classes throughout high school)
ACT: 29
ECs: Beta Club, Orchestra, JV/V Wrestling, JV/V Track and Field, Math Team, Interact Club
Class Rank: Don't remember but I was in the top 10%

I was actually rejected from UGA after graduating from high school and was wondering if that will have some affect on my admission. Also, my current major is Accounting; I have heard that the Terry College of Business is really competitive so I was wondering if my major will have an affect on admissions too.

Well, you certainly fit the profile of an accepted transfer student. Also, look at the last paragraph of the AJC article about students who initially were rejected at UGA.
