Chances of transferring?

Hey all,
I'm contemplating applying for a transfer to USC for fall of 2012 but am still unsure. I do not think I will be accepted currently, but would I would be appreciative if anyone can chance me and let me know otherwise. My first three semesters consist almost entirely of Withdrawals. This is due to a combination of my father being in prison, my grandmother passing away, and my mother being sent to tent city for a bit here in Arizona. These problems caused me to work to support my brothers and myself instead of focusing on school; all of which I will fully explain on the application. I have one semester completed and am currently finishing my second. I am scheduled to start volunteering at a hospital here by the end december as well. I'm not sure if this will affect my chances at all, but I am Mexican (legal ). I have 3 credits from an AP psychology test in high school so after this semester I will be at 31 credits completed. Grades are as follows:

Spring 2011
Intro to anthropology: B
Intro to Sociology: B
Abnormal Psychology: A
Developmental Psychology: A
English 101: A
Fall 2012 (in progress):
General Biology for majors: A
Racial and ethnic minorities: A
English 102: A
Universal themes Humanities: A

Thank you all for your time

So I take it you have a 3.77 cumulative? What school do you go to? What are your SAT’s/ACT’s/EC’s?

Dude, you have great source material for essays and since you’re a minority you’re going to get preference.

And general question for everyone, why do SAT/HS grades matter for transfer students?
