Chances of Transferring

So I initially applied to UT this year and I had hoped to get into Cockrell for ChemE, which is obviously a very competitive major. I was denied and placed as a Entry-Level Chem Major, as that was my second choice. Since my initial application, though, some of my stats have changed and I've done better. I applied to transfer into ChemE before orientation (I'm going to Fall orientation), and I was just wondering if y'all could chance me of getting into Cockrell now.

Bump, once again.
Seriously, anyone? :|

If Entry-Level Chem Major is in CNS then your chance is zero and here is the policy you need to follow.
You cannot apply for transfer before orientation. You have to apply after 24 hours in residence.
[Internal Transfer/ Change of Major - Cockrell School of Engineering](<a href=“Undergraduate Education”>Undergraduate Education)

If I’m not mistaken, according to this page, [University of Texas at Austin - Office of the Dean of Students - New Student Services - Changing Colleges at UT](http://deanofstudents.utexas.edu/nss/changingcolleges.php), I can change my major “during” orientation. Afterwards, yes, all the colleges have academic requirements to transfer. However, I applied for a “during orientation” transfer, in which case no requirements, besides calculus approval and a simple application, are required. The application I submitted is found here: [Apply to Change Majors - Cockrell School of Engineering](<a href=“UT Cockrell School of Engineering”>UT Cockrell School of Engineering).

Bump.

Any ideas?
