Chances of UCF, please? :)

Hi I'm currently a Senior in high school with dreams of attending UCF. Sadly I believe my current grades are going to blow my chances out of the water. I'm planning on submitting my ACT score after I retake the test this Saturday. My current ACT is a 19. I'm sort of ignoring my SAT of 1450, which I obtained after my second retake. My gpa is 3.25 unweighted and 3.48 weighted. My current classes and first semester grades are:

Game Programming II (A; this class is counted three times as an honors class so three A's for this semester)
English IV: College Prep (A)
AP Government (C)
Physics I Honors (Not graded yet since I just switched out of AP Physics today, and I'm taking the course via FLVS, but most likely an A)
AICE Math (F)
AP Psychology (A)

I'm going to try extremely hard to get an A for second semester in AICE, but I'm worried that just having that F they'll either defer me or revoke my admission. I already sent in my application for the school and their currently waiting my new test scores. I'm also worried that they may defer me because I dropped out of AP Physics, since I've never taken Physics honors prior to the course and I felt behind. Plus my teacher left in the middle of the year and my school was rushing to find a new physics teacher.

But besides my academics, I'm in Book Club and have been for two years. I was a S4TL delegate and I've done tons of community service. I also joined Key Club this year to rack up more community service hours. So do you really think I have a chance for this college?

I would say your chance are low. Mainly because of your GPA and ACT/SAT scores. Don’t let me discourage you, though. You still have your extracurriculars along with your essays which you gave them that give UCF another take on who you are.

Don’t worry too much about the F, I failed a semester of AP English Comp and still got accepted. I highly suggest bringing your ACT score up to a 25/26+, as right now your score is very low. Anyway, your chances are a bit low, but you do have a chance. Good luck!

To be honest if you really want to go to UCF summer is the way to go. While it may be tough for you to get into Fall, Summer admission might be a better choice
