Hey guys, I am a 25 year old Cog. Sci. major at my local community college right now. I am submitting my application this Nov. to every UC in ca. My top 2 of UCLA and UCSD...my number 1 being UCLA. i started community college when i was 18 and did horrible Fs Ds Cs. Then i got in a motorcycle accident that caused me to drop out of school and work for 3 to 4 years because of health and legal issues. i took one semester 2 years ago and go straight A's and just finished 2 summer courses with both A's. My GPA will be 3.41 at time of applications because of my bad grades 3 or 4 years ago. Since ive been back ive got nothing but A's though and ive join the honor society and the some clubs. I didnt do the TAP program because the honors courses werent offered in most of the major prep classes. Im hoping the UC's see that since ive been back ive maintained a 4.0 (in pretty hard courses too, chem and calculus 1, 2, and 3). Has anyone seen this before?, or know of anything i can do to increase my chances of UCLA? I would greatly appreciate any input. Thank you guys!

anyone? :/
