Chances of UCLA

I’m going into my senior year. This is what I’ve done the past 3 years. What do you think my chances are of getting into UCLA? Planned major: poli sci

4.3 W GPA
3.8 UW GPA
32 ACT (36 English, 34 reading, 28 math, 28 science, 8 writing)
Baskebtall 3 years
CSF 3 years
10 honors/AP classes
~230 service hours so far
Involved in many clubs at school
Job at my parents company for 3 years
Also, I go to a very well known private catholic school in California

(Next year I’m taking 4 AP classes + 3 regular classes)

Thanks for the feedback!

To clarify honors/AP classes:
8 honors classes
2 AP classes (I got a 4 on AP euro exam and 3 on APUSH exam)

Are you in-state?

UC GPA? Post capped weighted and Fully Weighted. Also check to make sure all your Honors classes are UC approved or you do not get the extra honors points in the calculation (must be CA student).

Yes I’m in state and all of my courses are UC approved

Tbh UCLA, and UCB are probably very unpredictable. Its hard to stand out in a pool of over 100,000. I doubt they read all those applications anyway.

I think you are a qualified and competitive applicant. As stated by @VANDEMORY1342 UCLA can be unpredictable so best of luck and make sure you apply widely.

Still with a 4.2+ GPA, it can be 50/50.

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 4.20 or above:

UCB: 42%
UCLA: 54%
UCSD: 87%
UCSB: 85%
UCD: 91%
UCI: 94%
UCR/UCM: 98%
