So, what are my chances for Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech (Virginia tech, primarily)?

VA Tech: Low match
GA Tech: High match

What does low/high match mean? and is that for Engineering/Business IT or both?

Low match- on the lower end of match

High match- High end, almost safety school material

Retake the SAT.

VA Tech-Low match/low reach
GA Tech-Reach

You def would want to take retake the SAT (aim for a 2000+). That would help you so much. As for ECs and GPA you are fine. Just make sure to do well on your SATs.

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1398883-i-desperately-want-go-lehigh-chance-me-please-i-will-chance-back.html

Since you’re in Virginia, I’d call VT a high match. Get your SAT up, though.

How would Georgia Tech be a high match and Virginia Tech be a low match? Isn’t it harder to get into Georgia Tech?
