Chances of...

<p>Im applying before the first deadline for all the schools.
Ohio state, illinois urbana-champaign, penn state upark, purdue, butler, and ball state and bowling green as fall backs. if you have an idea of somewher else i should look please share i love looking at college stuff haha.</p>

<p>From Ohio, going to be a senior, wanting to major in actuarial science.</p>

<p>GPA- 3.44w, 3.1 unweighted
ACT- retaking hoping for 30-31

SAT- i know it went really bad, redoing it

<p>-Junior and Senior class Senator in student government. 6th grade camp counselor. volunteering at soup kitchens for a total of 10-15 hours. total of about 30 volunteer hours. part-time job. varsity in 2 sports (swimming takes up about 4.5 hours a day during the season), also play in other leagues outside of school. Salvation Army co-chair for the school. Boys State Finalist for my School, One of only a few students asked to attend meeting when Ohio State President Gordon Gee came to our school</p>

<p>6 AP classes by graduation
only 3 non honors/AP classes since end of freshman year
6 total math classes, 5 science, 4 soc. stud., 4 english, only 2 language though</p>

<p>class rank is top 30% not sure of exact numbers. but i come from a school where we have about 700 per grade </p>

<p>I actually thought I have a better chance at purdue than osu</p>

<p>Still think that you are in at Purdue. Have you considered Illinois State? If you are serious about actuarial studies, the program is amazing.</p>
