Chances on being accepted? Advice?

So my preliminary GPA currently is a 3.73 to maybe a 3.8. My weighted GPA is around a 4.02. Class rank is 46 out of 455. And for my first SAT (without essay) I received a 1040 (560 for reading/writing and a 480 in math). I took the SAT again, but this time with the essay and I received a 1040 again (this time: 550 in reading/writing, 490 in math, and 20 for my essay). So with what I currently have, what are my chances of getting accepted into UCR? Should I take the SAT again or just focus on maintaining my grades and extracurriculars?
P.S. I am a senior. I have been in Red Cross for two years and also in NAHS (National Art Honor Society). If there are any details left out that are I should mention I’ll add on. Thanks!

Intended major?

Is your weighted GPA, your UC GPA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Your SAT needs to be bumped up especially if you are applying for a competitive major since you are below the 25th percentile.

GPA and test scores of middle 25%-75% students:

High School GPA UC GPA capped weighted: 3.60 - 4.04
SAT: 1090-1310

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19 (capped weighted): 78%

My daughter is a senior in a CA public school with a 3.92 UW GPA, 4.2 weighted. She’s taken the SAT three times and doesn’t want to take it again. Her highest score was 1190–670 reading, 520 math, 17 written. She wants to major in Biology but knows it’s super competitive. We’re worried about the math score. Does she have a chance?

@pekkla, please start your own thread since asking for chances on another person’s thread is considered hijacking.

FWIW: bio is impacted at all of the UC’s. Her SAT is low for that major. Why didn’t she try the ACT?
She may want to apply to the CalStates.

As for major I’m unsure but I’m leaning towards Biology/Political Science, still not sure. I also believe that my preliminary GPA is my UC GPA. Thanks for responding!

Biology will be a tough admit at any UC with your lower than average SAT scores. Political Science might be a better option for UCR. UCR does consider alternates major so you could apply for Biology as your first choice and Political Science as your alternate. If your UC GPA is in the 3.7-3.8 range, you are on target for UCR.
