Chances on Georgetown?

Hi! I've wanted to go to Georgetown University for pretty much my whole life and i wanted to know your opinions on if i could get in! Here are my stats:

I also have 19 relatives total from my family that are either alumni or attend Georgetown. Both of my parents went there, as with all of my siblings. All of my siblings worked in the admissions office under the assistant to the dean of admissions. My grandfather used to golf with the dean of admissions.

Let me know what you think please!

I think you have a very good chance.

I went to Georgetown Law School (which is not on the undergraduate campus), but saw enough of Georgetown to know that it is a GREAT place to go to school.

You should check out their AP policy however. Basically, you have already knocked off a year of college, which is like a 25% scholarship, and some of the top schools will give you little or no credit for your APs, which to me is a big detriment.

My son has received four 5’s, two 4’s and two 3’s, and at the University of Florida, for example, he would get FULL course credit for all of these. And he is taking many more this year. The AP credit would allow him to get to graduate school a year sooner.

Thanks! I have looked into that actually, and for most of mine, I would be able to either get credit or advance into a higher level course straightaway. The problem is that because i want to be pre-med, I would have to take some of the courses anyway like chem, calc, etc. I think they would still give me “free credits” though.
