<p>I really would like to go to NYU, but I don't know if i will get in because my SAT score is not very high. I am not a good standardized test taker and I'm just wondering if I have a chance of getting in. </p>
<p>SAT: Math: 660 CR:580 Writing:610 (Total Score: 1850)
I have one more chance to improve my score and I really would like to hit a 1950 or better, but I'm not sure if that will happen or not. </p>
<p>AP: US History: 5 CalcAB: 4 (I didn't take the AP World exam but I took the class)</p>
<p>Weighted GPA: 5.5 out of 6
Un-weighted GPA: 3.9 out of 4</p>
<p>I've been in all honors and AP classes for the past 3 years of high school, my only level 1 classes were electives and gym. I doubled up in math freshman year so that's why I am a year ahead of most students in my grade. </p>
<p>Senior Course Load: AP Calculus BC. AP Bio, AP Gov./Pol., AP Lang/ Comp, Computer Animation, Business and Consumer Law</p>
<p>EC:
-I have been in Class Student Council for 3 years (going on 4). I was the Junior Class Vice President, and I am currently the Senior Class VP.
-I am also in General Student Council (4 years), Rotary Club (2 years), Key Club (2 years), Bianca's Closet (3 years), National Art Honors Society, NHS, Spanish NHS.
- I was also nominated for the National Young Leaders State Conference to represent my high school.
- I swam for my high school at GMCs (we don't have a team) for 2 years and am County Champ for the first time in our school's history in women's 100 breaststroke.
- I swim for a club team (about 10 years)
- I swim for a summer league team (about 10 years)
- I am also a YMCA Long Course National Swimmer
- I am a certified lifeguard and I am employed by the YMCA</p>
