<p>Not sure really how my stats match up for what UofChicago is looking for, so here I go.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.4167 weighted, 3.61 unweighted
Most rigorous curriculeam (yes, I know that was not spelled correctly, I can't really spell very well)
119 out of 1,229 students, so top 10%
Sat I = 800 Verbal, 690 Math, 660 Writing (8 on essay)
Sat II's = US History 800, World History 800, Japanese 480 (I bombed the listening section...badly)
PSAT = 205, National Merit Commended
Courses = all AP and honors. 9 AP courses (including senior year), 6 AP tests,
AP world, US, Human geo, music theory, and English comp (somehow...) 5's, computer science A 4 (5 5's, one 4).</p>

<p>Employment: I am a tutor for Japanese, History, Math, and Music Theory</p>

<p>My recs: the english/history teacher one is great, but the math/science one is only ok/good</p>

<p>Short answers = very good, although they had better like eccentricity...
Essay: Excellent, except it is rather eccentric...</p>

<p>Interview = alumni interview hasn't happened yet, but is scheduled for two weeks from now.</p>

<p>I also submitted supplemental materials, since I am applying for music, I submitted a musicology paper I wrote (a shorter one, not a long one), and some of my compositions (if it helps, a short piano minature, a short brass quartet, a choral kyrie from a my requiem, a part of a string nocturne I am working on, and the exposition to my fugue in g minor). </p>

i kinda did a horrible job and just listed the things :( i'm doomed</p>

<p>Well, I think it matters what you write, but the format of it shouldn't be too important. I just listed mine as well when I applied EA, and everything worked out fine.</p>

for example i didn't really go into deatil why i like for ex. sylvia plath
