-Took enrichment programs to get me ready for high school, such as improving study skills and habits... this was because I was a horrible kid when i was in elementary...

THANKS GUYS

The scholarship thing is huge, it’ll look great on your application. The rest of the things under OTHER, it’s pretty useless.

SAT: You must aim for 2100+ to be competitive for those schools you’ve listed.
Your ECs seem to be all over the place (not necessarily a bad thing), but try to explain why you endeavored on such various areas for your ECs.

Now, your GPA… To be honest with you, a weighted 3.77 GPA is not very competitive for those UC schools. But, if you explain in your essays why that is, it will help alleviate its effect by a bit.

UCLA: Reach/Low Reach
UCSB: High Match/Low Reach
NYU: it really depends on the school… Stern (Reach), CAS (High Match/Match), Steinhardt (Low Match)

Now do you think I should put undeclared as my major or a science? I hear that the sciences at UCSB aren’t impacted majors, however at UCR and UCI, they are… What do you think I should do…
