If all goes well and i keep my grades about the same what do you think that my chances are at getting into
UVA...probably a large reach
Richmond
Vanderbilt
Elon
UNC Chapel Hill...reach probably
anywhere else you reccommend

I think your own assessment is reasonable. Have you considered Georgetown as another reach? What are your areas of interest?

i want to go into a business consulting or strategic consukting field
im thinking of a major in economics
another school i thought of was Skidmore
i will look into georgetown
thanks

also wanted to add that i have 2 1,000$ scholarships from sports and 1 $1,500 one from sports

^^^ That's actually excellent.. it's really going to help you get into a decent school, besides helping pay for it. Good luck on your SATs, take them twice is my advice (worked for me ;))

thanks again
anyone else?

other schools i thought of were bucknell and lehigh as reaches
tufts was a high reach and wake forest maybe, im not sure
any other suggestions appreciated
i would like to have an intercollegiate horse back riding team at college, because i have also been a competitive equestrian for many years and so the schools that i have mentioned for the most part have riding teams

Have you considered Washington and Lee? It's small and southern, but has high standards and some serious equestrians.. The Virginia Horse Center is next door too.

i havent looked at that yet, thanks!!!
i definitely will look into that and horseback riding is really important to me so it would be a great plus

Tufts would be reasonable high reach.

thanks
what do you think about any others?

UVA - Slight Reach (OOS)
Vanderbilt - Match / Slight Reach
UNC Chapel Hill - Slight Reach / Reach (OOS)

thanks
i wasnt sure how vanderbilt compared to the others
