is it much harder to get in from out of state??

Michigan is a match for you. If you bring your CR up it will be a safety.

What's your UMich GPA?

3.85...is that too low?? and do they take into account the fact that i took ap's and honors classes?

your umich gpa should be fine for an oos applicant...and considering the tough courseload you took it probably is more than fine...i'd say your chances are a strong match...your ec's are especially strong...

I like your profile. I'd say Michigan is a match for you. Apply early in the process.

Yeah, definately a strong match =)

thanks so much!! i have a new question now...im taking my ACT in september and based on practice tests im thinking i'll get around 31+..so do i have to wait until after i get my results back to apply or can i apply really early and send my scores later?

I think that your SAT scores, which are 1400+ are sufficient and you should apply early without the ACT scores.
