GPA=3.3/4. I go to a nationally known prep school. They don't offer AP or Honors classes exactly, but claim that all their classes are taught at that level. To promote collaboration and students helping one another, they don't provide class rank. However, I would say I am in the upper 25% from talking with classmates, etc.

SAT=2100/2400, or 1450/1600 not counting writing

ACT=35

EC: Baseball 3 years, Basketball 3 years, Republican Club (Board position), Economics Club (Co-founder), Math Honor Society, NM semi-finalist, AP scholar

100 hours community service

Junior Year internship at chicago board of trade
Current research internship at University of Chicago, econ department

Race: pacific islander

My school sends 99.7% to 4 year college. Many to Ivies, etc. Only 3 kids from my school are applying to UVA AFAIK.

i would say it depends on where you go to school, and even then, not very good.

Republican club???

it is called Teenage Republicans, but it is essentially just a republican discussion group. there is also a Young Democrats club at school, we have debates etc.
