<p>Hi. UCI is my top school and so far, I've been accepted to UCR, waitlisted to UCSC (???) and rejected from UCD/UCSD. Although, I am surprised about UCD. I thought I had a fair shot. </p>

<p>Anyways, can someone chance my for UCI? I go to school near UCI and have always wanted to go there.
UC GPA: 3.65
ACT: 30
More than 200 hours of volunteering at a hospital. Also interned at a hospital over the summer. Competed nationally in dance too [on a team].
I thought my essays were decent too; one about volunteering and how it's stimulated my interest in medicine and another about dance and how it's changed my personality. </p>

<p>Also, I'm thinking of appealing UCD. What do you think?

<p>i feel ya man i got waitlisted from UCD and rejected from UCSD, still waiting on UCI. I’m pretty surprised you got waitlisted for UCSC cuz i know a lot of people with worse stats than you that got in. We’re pretty similar, i’ve got a 3.67 uc gpa and 1960 sat score…You can appeal to davis but its unlikely that they’ll admit you unless you failed to show them something that may change their mind. you have a pretty good shot at irvine, but its been so random this year who knows what’s gonna happen…GOOD LUCK, i hope you get in!</p>
