Colleges:
Rice
Yale
Pepperdine

Let's see!

Responses, anyone?

pepperdine= 100%
Rice= 100%
yale= 40%—try for 2200 SAT, volunteer hours?..I don’t see anything “special” that shouts YALE.
but your stats r great anyways and you would have such great chances if you applied to even more competitive schools than pepperdine.

seriously? thanks, i wasn’t too sure about rice. but i was only allowed to apply to four, and rice, yale, pepperdine, and abilene christian were at the top.
should i have considered Penn?

yeah you have a much better chance at upenn

why only four?

I’ll agree with the 100% Pepperdine.
However, I think the other two are a bit inflated. Rice is probably about a 60-80% and 40% is generous for Yale. I’d go down about 10% from that. SAT is just not that impressive and your 20 ranking doesn’t help at all. Good luck, though. You never know what they’re looking for this year.

oh alright.
well thank you! yeah, i got put in a bad situation with my ranking (but don’t we all have a sob story to tell). after looking at some of the other chance threads, my SAT isn’t too smashing. it’s good, but not great.
thanks!
