bump
hey guys... r u... out there...?
Please chance me, por favor

Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to get NYU or Georgetown. American, Howard, BU, UW and GW would also be tough.

I agree. Your stats are just too low. You never know though because those are good ECs. I would apply anyway (obviously)

Well, your ECs are good. Since you can't easily fix your GPA (which is on the low side), I suggest you up your ACT scores and try your hardest on the SAT. If you're going for NYU Stern... I don't know. It'd be a really big reach, unfortunately, but apply anyway. Not sure about the other schools...

good ec's, decent grades. you'llbe fine. i'd say you're in at stern.

I don't know about Stern. Stern is TOUGH and their average SAT is around 2150 with an average GPA above 4.

That SAT of 2150 corresponds to an ACT of 32.25. That's WAY above your stats. I like your ECs, but I don't think they can make up for both a low GPA and a low standardized test score.

i know this may be a little offensive, but i have to ask, doesn't her ethnicity give her a little more leeway? i know her act scores are really low compared to the average. if she got that up to like a 31, would she be in becasue she is african american?

Stern doesn't factor it in as much as say, Wharton would. If she got it up to a 31, it would still be a reach because of her GPA.

Yeah, I dont think being black is going to help you THAT much. Stern is a huge reach even with ED. I think your list is entirely unrealistic.

sorry, kind of off topic, but if your school is very competitive, how can it not offer that many ap's?

real good ec's though...
