Recommendations: I know several teachers at my school who like me and will probably write well about me.

-I'm also expecting to receive some school awards (2-3ish) by the end of this school year

Your stats look good. Look into the JETS TEAMS program. Try to start a club so you can compete. I’d say your essay is weak though. They need to know about you - who YOU are. It’s not just about the college you want to get into, you need to put a level of trust in the admissions counselors as well. If you give them the chance to know you - your personality, what makes you tick, etc., they’ll be more likely to make the best decision FOR you. You know yourself better than they do (obviously), but they know the school better - they’re in the best position to judge if you’ll be a good fit - if you’ll be happy & successful there. Each school is different. When your stats are excellent - all else being equal, it’s about where you’ll be happiest. Give the counselors the opportunity to learn as much about you as possible so they’ll make the best decision they can for you.

Forgot to add - helping with a bake sale isn’t exactly something worth mentioning. Unless you spent a considerable amount of time volunteering to work on those campaigns, I’d leave that off too. Most apps ask you to list volunteer stuff in order of its importance to you. They also ask you how much time weekly/annually you devote to your extracurriculars.
