Binghamton - in

Don’t be lazy and do all my colleges ;p.

The fact that you say teacher recommendations are only “ok” kind of scares me a little bit, you’re SAT scores are good though and GPA is not the best, so it would be hard to get into Cornell. In regards to UMCP Honors, I think they like to take state kids first and then fill the other 50% of the program with high SAT scorers and high GPAs to improve their statistics, so I would say you have a 50/50 chance for that. In regards to the other programs I have no basis to judge. Good luck!

thanks guys

Bump nobody ever chances me

I don’t know about most of those, but I’d say you have a very good chance of being accepted if you apply ED to Barnard. RD…it really depends. Still a decent shot though.

Thanks! Nervous

Hey, I’m applying to the UMD Honors College as well, but it’s much tougher for an out-of-state to get in, simply because of the preference for in-state.

But that being said, your academics are very impressive, and that’s what the admissions officers at UMD told me was important at their academically-talented invitational program the other weekend. The acceptance into the Honors College had an average SAT score of around 1420 or so (CR + M) and you definitely destroy that statistic.

I see no reason why you shouldn’t be admitted into the UMD Honors, except for the out of state disadvantage.

Chance me back! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1024829-chance-me-competitive-schools.html

bumpppppppp

Bump. Please.

Your ECs are actually not fabulous (work is great though) unless your teams and Model Stuff went somewhere and accomplished stuff (like went to states or did something besides sit around and be smart, if you know what I mean). Having a female non-Asian math major is a hook-ish though.

Cornell- match
Barnard- go ED for a match
Brandeis- low match
University of Maryland College Park Honors- high match
Binghamton- safety

I’m not too great on the indv. college analysises so don’t trust me too heavily on this…

if anyone checks this I got into barnard ED its good to know
