Would I have a chance of getting in? Please help!

I’m by no means an expert but I’d say you have a good shot of getting in. I know people who’ve had lower credentials than you and got in. As long as your personal statements are solid you should be fine.

Also I’m not sure if Berkeley is your dream school or not, but if you happen to not get in, I’d say you are almost a sure shot as a transfer. Looking at your scores etc I’m sure you’d be able to get a 4.0 in a community college to transfer after as little as 1 year.

but by looking at me and the people you know who got accepted, i’m at the lower bit, i assume?

and thank you so much for the optimistic feedback.

bump, bump, bump

Major? 10char

law and sciences–biology-related

Your EC is just ave. Maybe you’ll be wait-listed or spring admit but don’t fret, submit a strong essay. You have one month to work on it. Good luck!!

GPA and ECs are weak. It’s a reach.

I understand that my ECs are weak, but is my GPA weak too? The average (yes, I know this is only an average) is 4.16 and mine is well above that…

Your GPA is not weak by any means. The average GPA for UCLA/UCB is like a 4.3. Just concentrate on the essays.

Sorry, meant SAT. GPA is good, SAT was what I was talking about.
