<p>Hey I'm new to this whole CC thing, but Im looking to get your opinion on my chances at some schools or suggestions for different schools if you have them. Im a freshman at Occidental College in LA but looking for a school that has a good business program and is a bit larger.</p>
<p>HS GPA: 3.50 (very competitive high school)
ACT: 27
SAT: 1850</p>
<p>College GPA: 3.85 (1st semester so far)</p>
<p>ECs: I have some really strong business EC's. I "flipped" a house this summer with my dad meaning that we bought a really old delapidated house and then renovated it for profit and I ran a successful book selling business through amazon.com while in high school.</p>
<p>This summer I hope to get an internship working with a real estate development firm in the United Arab Emerites.</p>
<p>Im interested in Cornell ILR or CALS or possibly Stern. Any more ideas? Thanks</p>
<p>In my opinion you have a good shot at both of those schools. Would you be transferring for the fall 2008 semester? some colleges require a specific number of credits in order to transfer. With your high GPA you can probably get into a good amount of these schools. I would not count on Wharton, however. To me all the others seem somewhat reasonable. Hopefully other people post on this to give you some help. I don't know everything but I hope this has been helpful.
Does Occidental have business? I'm looking for a liberal arts college that offers business or finance and I was wondering if Occidental is one of them.</p>
