Chances..please? I'm in an unusual situation.

I came from China 2 1/2 years ago and have been going to a public high school in Arizona ever since. I am applying ED2.

-unweighted gpa 3.91. (I have gotten all A's since I came to the US. the only reason i don't have a 4.0 is because of my grades transferred from China)
-AP courses: I haven't taken many AP classes because it took me some time to adjust to the language and school system. I took AP US history in my junior year but didn't take the AP test. i am now taking 4 AP's:literature, calc, government & biology. I took as many honors courses as i could and only a handful of seniors at my school have had a more demanding curricula.
SAT I - 2100 (reading-680, math-740, writing-680) i haven't gotten my december score back yet
SAT II- chem 740, bio molecular 740 math2 750
EC's
-badminton manager/assistant coach (10-12) over 10 hours/week during the season, 4hrs/wk during the summer. our team went to state for the past 3 seasons.
-TA at chinese school: 3hr/wk since last january
-city museum/library: over 60hrs
-state science olympiad(engineering club 10-12): 1st in a building event for which me and my partner had to construct a timing device and 5th in cell biology.
-classical guitar level 6 (China)
-jv tennis 10-12

recommendations:
-1 from the badminton coach who was also my french teacher,
-1 from my pre-calc teacher(i pretty much always got the highest grades in his class) he is also the director of the engineering club. (last year he mentioned many times during meetings the extraordinary amount of time and energy my partner and i devoted to our events.)
-and a pretty ordinary one from my counselor.
essays:
writing in english is still a challenge for me, but i have had my essays edited by teachers and friends. i wrote about the growth i have experienced from my transition in my CA essay. i still haven't finished the one for the supplement.

i haven't had the chance to visit Emory, but I like the school a lot because of everything I've read online and in the brochures they sent me. Given my relatively unique situation, what are my chances of getting in (I have permanent resident status so im not applying as an international student) ??

i think you will be super fine…

thanks.
aren’t you applying edII as well?

You sound good to me

you have a nice shot

another positive, assuring comment

thanks…guys.
by the way.can anyone tell me something about Emory’s business program that’s unique?
I’m trying to write my “why Emory” essay and I can’t find anything to write about other than the accessibility of the professors and the study abroad/internship program.

I’m guessing when you came to US you already knew english. No one comes here with no background in English and pulls off even straight Cs.

Anyway, congrats on getting into Emory!

emory’s bba program’s not as good as everyone thinks… atleast job recruitment wise.
