I am going to be applying for transfer to vanderbilt as early as possible. I am currently going into my sophmore year at the University of Central Florida with a 3.47, but that is going to be going up. I currently have 39 credits completed and will have 69 at the end of my sophmore year. My extracurriculars are comittee chair in my fraternity, legal assistant at a law firm, coordinator of two autism awareness tournaments that help raise over $10,000 and will have more by the end of my tenure at ucf, volunteer at the habitat for humanity, and other vounteer work. In high school I had a 3.4 gpa with low sat scores, but with so many college credits I feel as though that would be irrelevant, please let me know if I am wrong. I was the captain of the varsity swim team, co-founder/historian of a club that helped bring awareness and money to the ongoing problem in Uganda, and Best buddy mentor. I have outstanding teacher recomendations explaining my academic ability and a fantastic admissions essay that shows my passion to do well what are my chances of getting into vanderbilt.

If I could take a guess at where my gpa is going to be at the end of the fall semester I would say around a high 3.5 or 3.6. I will also have more extra curriculars. Anything that could help me please let me know.

I’d recommend talking to a vandy admissions rep. What fraternity are you in?

Delta Upsilon, and would they give me a better understanding on where I would stand, I feel like they wouldn’t give me a straight answer.
