Some colleges I am interested in is Notre Dame, Purdue, Stanford, and University of Chicago. I know the last two will be a stretch as my ECs don’t have anything too spectacular, but I’m just wanting opinions and also advice anyone can give.

Thank you!!

Purdue is a safety. Notre Dame seems like a good match, but saying you’re guaranteed admission is risky. Stanford and UChicago are both reaches (as they are for everyone), but you have as good a shot as the other well-qualified applicants, a fairly low one.

Purdue should be a likely. Stanford and U of C reaches. U of C pays particular attention to essays and some of their prompts are rather quirky. For ND you look fine academically, but your EC’s look thin. ND in particular wants to admit applicants that they view as being a good “fit” for the University and who understand and can further the mission of the school. I also saw that you are from Indiana. Depending on what part of the state you live in, it could be even more difficult.

Youll get into Purdue
ND is low reach, i think you should get in
stanford and Chicago are reaches
