Hi everyone,

I’m applying as a transfer student to American, George Washington and Georgetown. My major would be international relations. It’s a toss up for me b/w American and GW although I’m leaning towards AU. If I didn’t get into Georgetown I would only choose GW because the campus location is a little better (for me) and the name is a teeny bit more prestigious. I plan on going to grad school for law. However I think a great GPA from AU with Honors classes (hopefully) would do alright.

Sidenote: Every single letter or packet I’ve gotten from AU seems so…friendly. It’s very refreshing! Thanks for reading!

Anyway, here are my stats:

Two community colleges - one in Illinois, the other in Kentucky.

IL CC: 3.56 GPA (Took one honors course, should have taken more)
KY CC: 3.6 GPA (They didn’t offer any honors courses although I was interested)
No SAT or ACT scores needed.

Good teacher recommendations and good essays.
