PLEASE?!? WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF GETTING IN? AND ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS FOR COLLEGES I SHOULD APPLY TO FOR ENGINEERING? thanks.

Pratt School of Engineering (Duke)
Columbia U’s Fu Foundation

My view is you are a little better than 50-50 for these two schools (slightly better at Duke than Columbia. I’d say Match at Duke and Slight Reach at Columbia–especially since Duke is not as concerned about the ECs–and your ECs are the only weak part of your application.

Good luck.

P.S. Also apply to Carnegie-Mellon, Wake Forest, and Georgia Tech. You are a match at all three in my view.

thank you very much!

i think i’m going to take your advice and apply to carnegie-mellon and georgia tech too.

just wondering, which SVSM did u go to? and was it past summer?

SVSM @ AppState 2007

SVSM @ WCU! I was quite close to you then! Your stats look QUITE comprehensive, and I’m sure you’ve GREAT Chances both at Duke and Columbia.

oh, i actually know someone who went to SVSM @ WCU 2007! and thanks!
