I'm very nervous about college-- specifically, getting in. I have a 3.99 GPA and I am 25/220 students. I have taken an even mix of CP, Honors, and AP classes. I recently got a 1790 on my SATs and will soon be taking three SAT subject tests as well as getting results from an AP test. My extracurriculars are sparse. I took piano lessons for a year, music lessons for seven months, I have 40 hours of volunteer work, I have babysat since 2008, and I've been a nanny every day after school this year. I'm not aiming very high, I don't think. My choice schools include Bridgewater State University, Fitchburg State University, Northeastern University, Westfield State University, Boston University, Boston College, Lesley University, Framingham State University, Salem State University, Anna Maria College, and UMass Boston. I hope to double major in both English and psychology to become either an English teacher or a guidance counselor. I'm now finishing my junior year and trying to find more work experience and volunteer work.
Please tell me honestly what you think of my chances.

Ehm, is the 3.99 GPA unweighted? Just bring up your SAT scores and I think that’s the best option you have.

It is weighted, but I’ll get the final and updated one this summer. And, I plan to retake the test. Thank you for replying!!

Bridgewater State: Safety
Fitchburg State: Safety
UMass Boston: Safety
NEU: Reach (albeit lower than BC)
BU: High match
Lesley: Safety
Westfield State: Safety
Framingham State: Safety
Salem State: Safety
Anna Maria: Safety
BC: Reach (aim for 2050+/30+)

Thank you so much! These replies (especially this) have eased my mind, so I appreciate this a lot. (:

I agree, I think you have a good chance at all of these schools!

Thank you for saying so! Fingers crossed, worries decreasing slightly…

You stand a good chance at all IMO.

Thank you! This is helping a lot.
