Chances! PLEASE RESPOND!

Ok, I'm a white male from Alabama. Given the low male to female (41/59) ratio and my "unique" homestate (I doubt that very many people from Alabama apply to Fordham), I hope this will increase my chance of admission...

SATs: 1410/2210 (best scores from two sittings, 800 in writing), 2170 from one sitting
ACT: 32

At least a commended scholar, good chance of being a semi-finalist.
GPA: 4.35 unweighted, 4.6 ish weighted (7 AP classes)
Rank: My school doesn't rank.

My extracurriculars/awards are really lacking....
Some school awards for highest grade in classes (Spanish Award: 9-11 Physics Award: 11, Religion Award: 10, Computer Applications Award: 9)
and A honor roll 9, 10, 11, 12)
Played basketball as a freshman and tennis as a junior and senior
Spanish Club (9, 10, 11)
Spanish Honor Society (10,11)
National Honor Society (11, 12)
Attended Alabama Boys State, elected to House of Representatives (lol, what an honor...)
125+ hours of community service

I think I have a decent chance of getting in, but what chance do I have of getting in with very good merit aid? I really need money. Let me repeat, I REALLY need money.... Also, do I have any chance of getting into the Honors Program?

One of my good friends at LC is from alabama...and honors is only for roughly the top 20 students who apply to the school

You can probably get in, but I doubt honors.

What do you think it takes to get into honors?

What do you think it takes to get merit aid?

I think from the looks of your academic records that you have a very good chance of getting into the honors program. If you would like a more certain answer, however, you should call the Office of Admission at (212) 636-6710.
