Chances please! so nervous

<p>Okay so I have never done this chance thing but I guess I'll try it.. I'm a white middle class female from NJ, and I'm so nervous about applying to all these colleges, I'm not even sure which I am applying to yet. I have competitively figure skated for 14 years of my life and am a double gold medalist in figure skating, looking to major in business/communications. </p>

Michigan- should i apply?</p>

CR: 630 Math: 580 W: 610
ACTs- 27
... I am so not good at standardized tests which sucks
weighted GPA (4.0)- 4.3

<p>Regarding Michigan, think about whether it’s worth it to apply this way. You will have to pay about $50,000 a year to go there unless you get financial aid. Can you afford it and is it worth it to get a Michigan education if you have to pay that much. Also UNC is probably a reach because OOS is extremely competitive. Basically all OOS UNC students are ivy caliber because of the 18% cap they put there. UVA fits you better but you still kind of reach because of your low test scores, same with Michigan if you decide to apply. If you can raise them, you will have a much better shot. I would say if you can at least get them to a 29 ACT and the SAT equivalent, you will have a very realistic shot. Good luck!</p>
