<p>i'm applying for EA, engineering.
Nation: Turkey
SAT: 1920 (M 740, R 540, W640) -took four times :/
SAT2 : 1C 760, 2C 780, physcs 730
GPA: 3.4/4.00 (remarkable incline)
gender: male</p>

<p>excellent recommendations,
unique application essay
very strong leadership activities
too many community service...
attended European Youth Parliament
School track team, non-school basketball team (national runner up)
strong in journalism, wrote for an actual newspaper and school newspaper. won a writing contest</p>

<p>not very good senior grades. however, there is an amazing improvement in overall GPA since 9th grade.</p>

<p>not applying for financial aid..</p>

<p>what do yu think guys? keep in mind that i'm an international student though..</p>

<p>i’d have to say reach. your sat is in the middle 50, but your gpa is too low. what is your umich gpa?
4.0 for As and 3.0 for Bs, etc. only for sophomore and junior year</p>

<p>Take only your grades from sophomore and junior year. Look only at CORE ACADEMIC courses (math, science, english, foreign language, social studies)</p>

<p>A+/A/A- = 4.0
B+/B/B- = 3.0
etc.</p>

<p>I think you are a reach, by the way. It’s too late to apply for Early Response, and taking the SAT 4 times is a little too much.</p>
