my gpa is very low but if i get help writing an incredible essay as having leadership qualities as president and being a first-generation college student, could i get into these schools?

and also, would it improve my chances to choose a certain major for certain schools?

help writing an essay…lame.
anyway, dunno about the UC schools, but you’ll get into BU for sure; BC and NYU are a bit of a reach imo.

What is your class size and rank?

This might affect you, but what year did you screw up the most in? If,
a) It was freshman year
or
b) It was all of them, but your grades got better over time
then you still might have some hope for UC’s and USC. If a) is the situation, then you should know that UC’s will only consider 10th and 11th grade marks towards their UC GPA, and only ones that fit the A-G classes, with a maximum of 8 semesters of weighted AP/Honors pts. If it was b), then, after subtracting freshman year, you still have a very good shot at Irvine/Davis (I would say match anyways from your stats as is) Tentatively, I would say your chances are:

UCBerkeley/UCLA-Reach
USC-Reach/Slight Reach
UCI/UCD/Boston College-High Match

Hello Kitty & Friends club treasurer

LOL.
I know this wasn’t a Hello Kitty Club, but maybe change the name of the club on your application.

Re-add those SAT scores- that’s 2120.
