<p>hey guys, it's early summer, but i might as well start. btw, im currently a junior...thanks a lot!</p>

<p>GPA-</p>

<p>3.75 Unweighte/4.7352 Weighted (This is after my junior year and Im pretty sure I'll increase it to around 4.79 by the time october comes around and I apply ED to yale) Right now: top 10%, october: top 5% if everything goes alright</p>

<p>SAT-</p>

<p>2280 (770 Verbal, 750 Math, 760Writing)
SAT II- World History (770), Spanish (780), Biology (760) US History (780)</p>

<p>COURSES-</p>

<p>I'm going to be a senior and so far I've taken all honors courses as well as 5 AP's and will be taking 4 more senior year. I've gotten A's in all of them except one semester in english.</p>

<p>Enter more contests, try to win more awards, etc. At this point, I think you'll have no trouble getting into at least one top 20 college, so be thankful and happy!</p>

<p>I don't know if Argentinians are considered urms. My Brazilian neighbor with similar stats did not seem to get a urm boost as there seem to be many rich south Americans applying to ivies. Your stats are competitive, but add safeties!</p>

<p>for entering more contests, do scholarships really help? especially since these days people are entering like 20 at a time...</p>

<p>zagat, yes, i checked and i am a urm, but i definitly don't have the same advantage as someone whose very very hispanic.</p>

<p>one more question: anybody want to point me in the direction of some good safeties in terms of political science and international relations majors?</p>
