The Schools: (all RD, no ED/EA)
Columbia University
Princeton University
New York University
Cornell University
Brown University
Brandeis Univeristy
Stanford University
^^ those are basically the more “reach” ones.. the other schools I am applying to I basically know I could get in with my scores // extra-curriculars

Please rank what you think of each of those schools!
If you want a chance back, let me know!
Also, what other schools do you think I could get into with my scores/grades/e-c's!?!

Since you know these are the reaches, based on the brief research I did of all of there admissions statistics Ill rank them 1-7 where 1 is the highest reach (hardest) and 7 is the easiest or lowest reach.

Columbia University 2
Princeton University 1
New York University 6
Cornell University 5
Brown University 3
Brandeis University 7
Stanford University 4

NYU and brandeis might be grouped together a bit more as well.
Chance back.

Well i cant see you not getting into NYU, and Brandeis you have a really good chance too, but the others are tough even for amazing people, its all about the essays, everyones scores will be the same and everyone will have pro ECs so just make the admissions officer remember your essay and you MAYBE could get into those IVYs

THx for chancing me

bump! anything!?!

I’m going to have to agree with morganmkm. You shouldn’t have a problem getting into NYU and Brandeis, but those other schools are extremely hard to get into even for people as qualified as you are. You definitely have a chance at getting in, but it really does come down to essays when everybody is extraordinarily qualified. I really hope this helps and good luck with the admissions process.

P.S. if you could chance me back that would be amazing!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/797035-hey-what-my-chances-getting-into-uconn.html.

I would say you have a pretty good chance for all of them but i would rank it like the 1=most likely to get accepted 7 = least likely

Columbia University 6
Princeton University 7
New York University 2
Cornell University 5
Brown University 4
Brandeis Univeristy 1
Stanford University 3

chance back

I honestly think you’re in at NYU and Brandeis and rejected almost everywhere else.

i just got a 33 on my latest ACTs… power score: 36 English, 34 Reading, 34 Math, 31 Science…
will this help at all at any schools?
(new subject tests coming soon!)

Stanford, Brown, Columbia and Princeton are probably all reach/high reaches. You’re pretty much a match fro Brandeis and NYU, and Cornell a low reach.

i agree with ForsakenOne’s rankings. and pretty much everyone else here. your ECs are very common, and i can’t really tell who you are (i.e. science person, art person, etc…) if you showed passion through your essays and if your recs are good i say you do have a chance the others though!

good luck!
