Chances, please? (Yale, Brown, Lehigh, Vassar)

Okay, I know that I'm going to get some witty comments from CC cynics that I shouldn't be concerned with college chances as a high school sophomore, but can someone please try to tell me if my reaches are too high or attainable?

Target colleges -> Yale (dream school), Brown (other dream school), Lehigh, Vassar.

GPA --> Freshman year 3.83 UW 4.0 W
Sophomore year 3.83 UW 4.16 W
It will probably get better with all honors/ap courses junior/senior year with the exception of English (we have one of the most rigorous programs of honors English in the country and i'm not willing to compromise my social life (yes, I have a life!) for 4 hours of english hw every night (not even joking).

Class rank - Top 3% in class of 359

PSATS --> Between a 226 and a 236.. I'm mad that you can't compete in nat'l merit as a sophomore X(

Extracurriculars..
Sports: Indoor track (JV Freshman year, Varsity sophomore year and obviously junior/senior years)
Spring track ^^ same thing
Other: Math team (best math team in state, on it so far both years, will be all four)
Took AMC-10 and AMC-12.. qualified for AIME with AMC-12.. got a 3 on the AIME (this was freshman year)
Did New England Math League, don't know if this helps any.
Got all the fluff mailings (Who's Who, National Honor Roll, NSHSS, you name it)
Academic Decathlon (freshman year, will do all four years)
JETS (Junior Engineering Technical Society) - JV Freshman year, don't know about other 3 years but most likely varsity?
Went to New England Invitational Meet (for math team, top two underclassmen in a top 3 school from maine)
Amnesty International (10, 11, 12... so far i've gone to a Youth Civil Liberties Conference..)

Also, do colleges shift grades for different grading scales? Only letter grades appear on my transcript and our grades are A= 93+, B = 85-92, C=77-84, D=70-77, F=<70.. thanks!

oh, and maybe i should mention comm. service... i'm a big sister and will be for 3 years.. so approximately 100 hours total.. but it's meaningful at least =)

bumpdeedeebumpbump.. not sure if this matters but i'm 100% native american (passamaquoddy).. idk if that's a urm or not though..

Being a 100% Native American is going to help...A lot. Even without that you would be a good applicant. With those stats and your urm status, I see any college as a good possiblity for you.

Witty comment: isn't it past your bedtime little girl?

lmfao. at least it was a funny witty comment ;) and no, it's only 9 here, so of course not

please, anyone else?? :)

Full blooded native Americans are the most rare URMs. You can stop doing all homework right now!

Lol, suze, that was pretty good. It's actually funny because it's probably true.

I said if you keep up and improve your grades you'll have a pretty good shot at all those schools especially because you're a native american. Good Luck :)

hooray for native americans! high five

Ugh I hate it when people like you post their stats. you make me feel so inferior because your stats are SOOOOOOOOOO good. and you're like full URM. You could probably get into any school you want

*I don't HATE people like you, I am just very very jealous :P

Let me just hand you Yale and Brown acceptance letters...

But seriously, if you keep going like you are you will be in at those schools. Now stop worrying about college as a sophmore, you'll have enough to do junior and senior year.

thanks guys ;) and yeah, well at my school they pretty much make us worry about college this early.. obviously not to the point of logging on to cc but you get my drift.
btw happy thanksgiving everyone

Actually, Jedo is wrong. You have/will get good test scores and your academics are stellar, but extracurriculars are not that great, and this will hurt you. Track and math are very popular activities. You need to set yourself apart from the crowd to get into Yale. Take a look at the Yale applicants this year to get an idea of the competition, keeping in mind that Yale rejected 10 out of 11 applicants last year.

remember that the op is a very sought after URM, though, b4nnd.

and i think you have a good shot at any college you apply to. good luck!
