Chances, please?

<p>I'm getting pretty nervous as March approaches...What do you think my chances are? Thank you.</p>

<p>Major: Economics (Impacted?)
California resident
First Generation
Asian (Specifically Vietnamese), part Caucasian
Female
Low Income</p>

<p>3.818 UW
4.139 W
4.273 Academic GPA
4.25 UC GPA (This is 10th and 11th grade only right?)
1990 SAT I (Took it twice, same score twice, D:), 720 CR, 680 M, 590 W
SAT II: Lit: 720 Math II: 700
Took 3 AP courses Sophomore and Junior year: Physics B, Calculus AB, AP Chemistry (Do AP scores matter?)
Currently taking: Spanish Language, Calculus BC, and Statistics
Class rank: 33/441 (about 7%, 93rd percentile)
My essays were pretty good in my opinion, but I've read that they aren't really taken into account?</p>

<p>Bad part is, I don't have many extracurriculars/leadership...
1 year of Concert band
21 hours of community service
1 year in a club where we fundraised for injured children in the middle east
1 year Vietnamese Student Association
1 year CSF</p>

<p>I really regret not involving myself in more extracurriculars...Or studying a lot more for my SATs. What's done is done though. :/</p>

<p>Your UC GPA is solid, and your SAT scores are on par with a lot of students. Having no leadership positions hurt you though, but i would lean more toward yes over no.</p>

<p>Your stats look a lot like mine, I got in everywhere I applied and chose UCSD :slight_smile:
Even with admissions decreasing acceptances, I think you are going to get in.</p>

<p>does having a sub SAT’s [both SAT I and II’s] hurt you if you make up for it in ELC, GPA, and leadership/EC’s?</p>

<p>my SAT is 1860, while SAT II’s are 650/620…
but my GPA [UC] is 4.25</p>

<p>And @spatel23, I wouldn’t worry at all if you have ELC…Like 90-something percent of people with ELC get in.</p>
