<p>HS: Nationally ranked public school in NY
GPA (unweighted): 3.94 (4.03 junior year; 4.0 = A; class unranked)
PSAT: 222 (so Nat'l Merit Semifinalist at least)
SAT I: 2300 (740 CR, 760 M, 800 W)
SAT II: 760 Biology E, 790 World History, may take Math II
AP: Taking/will take AP Bio, AP English, AP French, AP Studio, AP US. Received a 4 on the AP World History test.
Extracurricular/sports/jobs: Harvard Model Congress, tutor, hospital volunteer, tennis (USTA + school), camp counselor, have written for numerous sports statistics-oriented websites, ran photography group that reached 6000 contributing members</p>

<p>It looks like you have a nice mix of (realistic) reach, match, and safety schools but make sure you have FINANCIAL match and safety schools as well. Knowing what your parents can afford is important in the college search and selection process. You may want to include an in-state public school to your list if you don’t currently have one penciled in.</p>

<p>Brown – As good of shot as anyone
Duke thru Rice – High matches across the board. Doesn’t really mean anything, but if these schools were predictable (and they most certainly are not), I’d guess you’d be in at a few of them.
Michigan and USC – Match
BU – Safety</p>
