Chances please

I'm currently a junior and am curious as to my chances at Dartmouth. AND I'M HISPANIC. I've heard being hispanic makes a small bit of difference at Dartmouth, true? .

Although Dartmouth doesn't have a high ranking undergrad business program, it is still very strong.

SAT Estimations from practice tests:
2100+ SAT
750+ SATII Math
720+ SATII Chemistry
(One more probably, let me know if I should take one more)

GPA: Unfortunately, I believe that I might get 2 or 3B's on my Junior Year Semester.
Freshman year: 4.0 UW
Sophomore Year: 3.9UW/4.0UW
Junior Year: 2-3 B's/Try for all A's

I know I come up weak in the GPA and a little with the SAT II's, but hopefully my very strong, focused, and dedicated EC's will make up for it.

I am entrenched in business and I pretty much live, sleep, eat, and breath business. I love innovation, and I just love hearing and trying to make a "dent in the universe" (hopefully some of you people got the quote ;) ) Specifically the technology side of business.

I have created 6 of my own mobile apps for Android, iOS, and Windows and turned a reasonable profit.

Started my own computer club last year. It's still alive.

Participated in several entrepreneurial courses offered out of school.

Started a game-computer company, which offers a gaming pc, and inside of it contains an XBox or PS3. It's super awesome and we turned a nice profit.

I tutor a few kids in programming.

My other passion/focus is fencing. I am a rated fencer (which means that I'm not schmuck off the street and I have spent hours training, however, my rating is not the top rating. It is still VERY respectable though.)

I help the younger fencers in my club every Saturday.

Possible Essay Responses:
- I have had 10 surgeries over the course of my high schools years (mostly during the breaks), due to a bad condition in my chest. Each time was bad pain for 2 weeks. :(
- Talk about my business experiences the joys.
- Talk about the time I was attacked by a pit bull and my first time experiencing true shock. (It felt like I was in a dream when it happened)

Thanks everyone! GOod luck to you all who have applied ED as well!

Anyone ideas?

Dartmouth '14 here. Why are you applying to Dartmouth if business is what interests you?

If you are truly interested in business I would recommend applying to Wharton at UPenn over Dartmouth.

I will probably apply there too, but RD. I was thinking ED for Dartmouth because it’s a lot easier of a program to get into and a good gateway college for grad MBA, which is what I want to do for the future. Do you guys think I have an equal chance ED at Wharton? I hear Wharton is insanely hard to get into. How can I stand out from the other 4.0/2400 applicants? Even with my strong EC’s.

I’ve hard Dartmouth is strong with business. I’m more of a business/engineering, and they have a stellar program, right? If you have any other recommendations for me regarding colleges, please feel free! And congrats for making it in!

Dartmouth’s Masters in Engineering Management is for graduate students, not undergrads. Dartmouth doesn’t have an undergraduate business program. You could certainly come to Dartmouth and study econ and engineering and then pursue the MEM. But you wouldn’t be able to participate in that program as an undergrad.

Ahh I see. I probably should have known that before researching. Great to know more! How about my chances? I’m trying to figure out which schools are best. thanks
