Chances please?

<p>So I am a tad bit worried that perhaps I may not gain admittance into BU. A couple kids at my school recently got in and their SAT scores were amazing. Mine were less than impressive. Here is my resume, can you tell me what you think my chances are? thanks!</p>

My first language is not English, and I moved to the States like
in 8th grade so I have to take the TOEFL, since my CR grade&Writing grade
isn’t that great.</p>

<p>SAT II: Math I-710 Math 2-570 World History-470(Yuck!)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.4 Unweighted Class rank 35%</p>

<p>What program did you apply to? I applied to CAS for International Relations. If they offer me CGS, I would tend to go to CGS since BU is my first choice.</p>

<p>I honestly think that your race will help you with being accepted. I am asian with low scores, so that hurts me even more. Especially the fact that you’re a legacy…in the BU rejection letter they say something about “we pay special attention to those who’s parents went to BU” so legacy is obvi an important aspect to them. This will work to your advantage and take away some attention from you score. No guarantees though bc all schools really do care about scores. Ik this cause I was just rejected from a school cause of low SAT score</p>

<p>doubleB’s- Yeah we are pretty similar haha and I also applied to the College of Arts and Sciences as a Biology major. </p>
